Average Diesel Price - 07 versus 08

    Can anyone tell me what the average price per litre of diesel was in Ireland for 2006, 2007 and 2008?

    I had a quick look but couldn't find anything and was hoping someone here would know.

    Has average monthly petrol & diesel prices back to August 2001. Split month by month rather than anually so there's a bit of work to do there.

    Picking a random sample of 5 months from each of 2006, 2007 and 2008, it would appear the price per litre of diesel has gone up 14% in that period, 12% came between 07 and 08.

    Sound about right anyone?
