    Hi guys,

A strange one. I am trying to get into my Solaris box with Citrix. After you click the server you want from Program Neighbourhood, it repeatedly attempts to reconnect unsuccessfully for about 5 minutes. This is occurring since i got Vista installed

Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No joy

Is this a known issue for anyone?

    vista ftw :)
first thing that comes to mind would be firewalls ? i *still* have to figure out how to share printers over a vista network !
try to telnet to your solaris box on port 1494 to see if it will connect

any chance you have a firewall that came with vista that might be blocking it ? (disable it and try it)

firewalls shouldn't affect outgoing connections, but..

has the solaris box been setup to support a web client , compare that.

I take it you are using the latest ICA client

run the client in compatability mode ??
