How to sell your classic - unfotunatley i don't have the answer - but i am trying to sell my classic and not having much success, I don't want to pay to advertise, so I have steered clear of Carzone and CBG, I have used:

    Carsireland.ie
    Classiccar.ie
    Pistonheads.co.uk
    Octane.ie
    carandclassic.co.uk
    Gumtree.ie

has anyone got any other good websites to help sell my classic???

    Thanks

cheeky link to my car :o......http://www.carsireland.ie/detail.php?ad_id=288755

Nothing's selling anywhere and won't by the looks of it, I gave up and I used to sell them for a living. Carzone used to be ok until they changed the site and dropped the classic car section, I contacted them to see if they'd bring it back but they never replyed so they obviously don't care so I couldn't be bothered advertising with them anymore either.

Nothing seems to be moving. My GT6 is for sale for a lot less than it stands me and I've got nothing past a couple of enquiries. People are probably finding it hard to justify buying a classic at this time, even if they have the money. Nothing to do but wait and enjoy the car in the meantime.

If you want to sell a classic in the next 6 months, you are gonna have to put your price way down... Wait and see what will happen to houses... :(

As has been discussedin another thread, this was a disaster,i used to like browsing the classics a few times a week,it wouldnt have killed them to keep that option open,i dont bother with carzone at all now.

Things are definatly tightening up in the country though....
