Brazil in February

    Few questions about this:

What sort of weather will I be expecting at this time of year? Some sites I look at say that temps rarely go over the 30 degree point while others say that it's quite common to find temps of 35 in February. Also I can burn quite easily so what sort of protection should I be looking to get? How uncomfortable is the heat - how bad is the humidity?

Flights - The best option looks to be Air France at around €700 return including taxes. I presume I'll find it hard to beat that price? Peoples experiences of flying with them?

I'm looking to go to Sao Paulo (there's a carnival in Feb there). Crime a big issue here just like in Rio?

Injections - I'll most likely just be staying in Sao Paulo, possibly travelling down to Sao Vicente, do I need to get any injections before leaving?

    Thanks in advance!

I was in Bello Horizonte around this time of year once.

I don't recall having any problems. It was generally fairly overcast, probably due to it being in the mountains.

Only spent time in the air port in Sao Paulo, so not too sure what the weather was like there. Sorry.
