UK Wii Points

Hi

Can anyone tell me if Wii point cards bought in shops in the UK or up north will work on an Irish Wii?

I remember there being some issue with American cards being blocked but I don't know about UK ones. Just thought they'd be cheaper up north with the current exchange rate.

I too noticed this and want to know if uk cards could be used here (so thanks for answering the question!)...

1000 Wii points in Euro is €10

But in UK/North 1000 Wii Points is £7 (€7.76!!!)

5000 Wii Points in Euro is €50 and UK/North is £35 (€38.81)


I know where i will be buying my points from now on!

They were a big bag oh Sh!te, put my order in for points which they said they had in stock at the time, they then emailed me saying they were out of stock and that they would be back in stock in 2-3 days, emailled them back in 4 days to see what the story was, again got the same generated email back say that they were out of stock and would be back in stock in 2-3 days.

After three weeks of this repeated crap, I've cancelled my order.
