    Hi,
    just got online playing gta4, resistance2, and cod4. resistance2 and cod 4 is mental online. great fun. but so hard to last any longer than a minute before im killed. any people new to online gaming find this. There are some real pros out there.. i fing gta4 great cos lots of room on the map to move and get used to online playing. Zillions of bullets in war games that will kill you etc...just got bluetooth headset so hopefully that will also add to it.any good forums in here to go onto to organise matches against anyone?? my online id is crxsi09 by the way. i have pro evo 9, condemned 2, cod4, gta4, far cry2, resistance 2..

    OP i find the exact same online, im the one holding up the show! Sucks, i remember playing Tony Hawks online last year, and i was doing so well then next thing some guy scored 2000000 points! Making a mockery of the game imo! SHow off, i find COD4 a particular problem of lasting 5secs! Great fun all the same, so frustrating!

    Yeah its a bit of a turn off. I found games like TF2 to be the best to play online. I play on Pc and its much easier to do well than on COD4 or any of those shooters.

    I guess I'm just used to the HL2 engine. The real problem is if you buy a game later, everyone else has already been playing for months and will inevitably be better than you.

    Halo 3 does a good ranking system to keep you playing at your own level.

    All games are the same, you play the first time you get a 1:10 kill:death ratio. Just give it time. I started playing R2 3 weeks ago i was ****, now i'm always at least in the top 3 in 60 player games and rarely ever aren't no.1 in 10 player games.

    Rank. Your rank in the game.

    When you play Resistance online, you play against other players who are ~ the same rank as you.
    The lower your rank, the easier it is.

    As you win, you rank gradually gets higher obviously.

    I'm only rank overall 20, but i'm rank 20 competitive, barely any co-op or storymode played.

    Only if you play ranked matches I presume. If you play a custom game you select what game you want to play in regardless of rank.

    Back to OP practice makes perfect. Keep playing the games. Get to know the maps and most importantly keep moving. A prone target is easy prey.

    I h8 playn a game then playn another! lik last year i strtd playn RFOM ... was alrite mvd on 2 COD4 hrd at strt den i was unreal at it! then the hardest shooter 2 play R6V2 .... Gd game & i nly bought the game to make ARW :L
