I just got a Hanns.G 28" monitor, its a lovely monitor but sometimes a blue line appears down the centre of the screen, its not all the time but gets quite annoying. Any help?

Sounds like its a lemon. Get an exhange from wherever you bought it. How are you connecting it? DVI/HDMI/VGA?

Thing is it was a demo model, only one left, reduced in the sale. They don't have another one, but I'll ring them tomorrow maybe.

Its connected by VGA, I've replaced the cable and its still there

well tell them that you need a replacement so that they know to order you a new one. I bought some fancy headphones from Compustore once, and had to get the manager to order a new shipment so I could have my replacement pair got.

I got it in Quinn Computers in Kilkenny. I brought it back today and the guy in the shop hooked it up to one of the pcs they have and it worked fine. I brought it home again and there is still a blue line. I'm wondering now is it something to do with my graphics card. My PC is about 3 years old

was it being connected by VGA in the store or DVI?
