Grooming... behind

Ok, it's usually not that noticeable but in hot weather and when I go to the gym, it's like having a Brillo pad in my arse. I want rid of it but I haven't a clue how I'd go about it.

I've never groomed the front never mind the back. Is this a common problem? If it gets sweaty back there, I can get a rash and it's really irritating.

It's not like I'm an overly hairy person, I think my skin might be quite sensitive. I doubt many beauticians would be up for waxing a guys crack, and even if they are, I don't know how comfortable I would be doing it. Waxing sounds like it would rip the hole off me too. I don't know how I could use scissors or a razor in a place I can't see.

Back, sack 'n crack wax - all the kids are doing it these days.
Don't know about shaving it - that'd itch like feck when it's growing back....
You could use conditioner on it after you wash it to make the hairs softer - your arse would feel like it just stepped out of a salon....

On the practical side - talcum powder? Have tissues handy to erm.. dry the area if it gets sweaty??

There are hair removal creams such as Veet, with sensitive skin variations available. Might be something to try before you butcher yourself with a pair of sissors! They're painless, by the way!

    PMSL :D

Its easy to shave your crack, same as you'd shave any other part of your body. Bit of shaving gel and avoid the bullseye. OH does it and he says it doesnt itch growing back. He just parts his cheeks and makes a wiping action on the inside of each cheek dont use a cheap disposable razor though or it'll be a week in nappies for you. ;) Put a bit of after shaving cream on it afterwards as well, a bit of balm or something, will stop any potential shaving rashes.

If your too nervous to do it yourself there is a place in Batchelors walk that does a hot towel crack shave. :D

Other than that i suggest using baby wipes, keep ya nice and fresh!

    It's there job ;)

Alternatively ya could get a lighter and a can of Lynx.

But seriously, just get it waxed if it's bothering you. Give the waxer a nice tip too ;)

Crack and sac waxing is very common. Just make an appointment with a beautician, 'tis very common, they won't blink and eye. And if getting any waxing done, two nurofen plus 45 minutes beforehand and you'll be fine:)

I used Veet on my legs and it stung. If you're going to try this route test it on a small area first. Personally I wouldn't try one of those near my ass.

Some places are just supposed to be hairy.

I'd be reluctant to use veet in between you cheeks, especially if you've got sensitive skin, it'd be a recipe for disaster. I had an awful reaction when I used it on my legs. Best bet is the old crack wax, beauticians do them all the time, don't worry about them not wanting to do it, they'll have seen it all before! You may also be able to get it lasered off which would be a more permanent solution.

i use veet on back, ass and inbetween due to a medical condition and it tingles a bit, but its better than havin hair and not as bad as waxing down there.

try your sensitivies to it 1st tho!!!

go and get it done professionally - it sounds like you're fairly sensitive in that area anyway, so a botched home job could lead to a very painful disaster. Also, lob on the talc after the gym and showers etc - alongside getting rid of the hair it sounds like you need to take care of the skin as well.

If you want to get it removed get it waxed, otherwise the regrowth will be torturous. And crack waxing is not very painful at all. The sack I'd imagine would be a different matter.
