Laptop Help/Specifications etc

    Hi Folks,

    Need a bit of help/advice.

    My parents have told my brother they will get him a laptop after Xmas, so they asked me to source one in and around €450 , preferably below €400 if possible,

    Basically all he will be using it for is:
    • Playing music - he will have around 8,000 songs to put on it
    • Browsing the Net
    • Playing online poker
    • Maybe watching the odd DVD on it in his room or when travelling down the country to play a match.

    The main sites I have been looking at are Dell,Laptops Direct,Elara,Pixmania & eBay.

    Just a quick couple of questions, what is the best of the following processors

    Intel Core 2 Duo
    Pentium Dual Core
    Intel Celeron
    Core Duo

    A 15.4 screen size would do him, would the the following be enough specs for him?
    Memory 2gb plus
    Hard Drive 160 gb plus

    Any advice on any laptops people may have seen that match what I am looking for would be greatly appreciated.
