Kane & Lynch - very UNDERrated!

Hey,

This might seem a bit out of date but.....

I bought this in Game last week for only 12.90...seemed like a bargain.

I think it's a great game....it's completely underated and unfairly criticised! - great co-op mode with Lynch by your side, excellent gameplay that requires some thought, such as ordering your teammates around, and great graphics.

However, the main fault with the game is the cover system....it would have been so much better if there were a dedicated cover button...the system of standing beside an obstacle under the character "clicks" into cover is tedious and very unreliable when under enemy fire.

All in all though, I thought this game was great and highly entertaining...and at less than 13 quid it's an absolute bargain.

I found it tiresome, boring, bugged and a chore. I played up until the level after the bank heist, and it just did not grab me. Too many other games out at that time too. I may go back to it later, if I get it cheap, but it'd want to be a very dry spell.

I found Kane and Lynch to be quite enjoyable to play. Didnt experience many problems with the game at all. For the price that it is now you could certainly buy worse games.

It's not a bad game at all, I played it co-op with a friend. There was some very good levels in it, a few gripes but not too many. I agree about the cover system though, twas a bit flaky alright.

I thought it was awful. It looks ugly, like a bad PS2 game. Gameplay is dreadful as well. It's like IO's other shooter Freedom Fighters but they removed all the tactical flanking elements and somehow made it dreadful. Cover mechanics were fiddly.

Yep, I'm in total agreement with Retr0 on this one... If anything it was OVERrated!
Even at 12.90 it was still a rip-off

i remember that tricky bit with the truck in the construction site driving me nuts but thats about all i remember other than it being a chore to get the will to play it and finish it

No matter what price they're selling it for it is still pants and painful to play.

Played it tonight for about an hour, its very hard to play the cover system is terrible and gets you killed a lot.


Give it a shot in coop if thats still crap , it goes in the pile.

Worst thing about this game if I remember was the amount of glaring bugs and glitches. I think I gave up after the 2nd or 3rd level.
