I have been looking at the Airsoft slug shell shotgun on Redwolf. I think it amazing and would fit into my collection well. I am wondering how possable would it to get one into the countey??? I am thinking it may be stoped by costoms, but would like to know from some one else what to you guys think???

I will be keeping it lock away and will not be bringing it out on skirmish. So chill guys. LOL

If it's over 1 joule it's a firearm and will be stopped and destroyed.

If it isn't you should have no problems importing it.

No, not at all, some of the retailers here sell shell ejecting shotguns, I have

one myself. Shouldn't affect it getting through customs.:)

    Got a link for it?

The shell ejection system has no bearing on it. So long as the projectile cannot produce energies higher than 1 Joule at the muzzle then you won't have any issues. Id hazard a guess that it would go over that limit though. Can you provide a link to the rifle you're looking at?
If it is over, Maruzen do shotguns which fire bbs but still eject shells, so there are alternatives.

Most definitely over the limit. They fire at 250fps, but slug weight is 1.9g or 3g depending on the type you use. That would put it well over the 1J limit.

Indeed, according to a airsoft energy calculator i found online a 1.9g

projectile @250fps works out at 5.49 joules. Which is about 4.49 joules over

    the limit I'm afraid.

    In airsoft, there's always an option. Sometimes it just takes a bit more looking;

Maruzen M870, shell ejecting, pump action, composite stock.
Maruzen M1100, shell ejecting, pump action, composite stock.
Maruzen M1100, shell ejecting, pump action, wood stock.
Maruzen M1100, shell ejecting, automatic action, no stock.

All legal here and all impressive pieces. I've held and fired the M1100 composite and automatic and the M870 composite and they're all very impressive pieces. Same price range as what you were looking at too.

I have a m1100 automatic action. Looking for something different. Collectable.

They're the closest you'll get in legal shell ejectors here. Everything after that and you're in the realms of over powered gear. If you don't mind not having shell ejection systems, you'll get a lot more choice.

As Dex knows I had been searching for a pair of colt walkers and winchester rifle.

Since been put on back burner for the tm sopmod.

However I found a site that had beautifully crafted ones. The winchester took blank like rounds that fired BB's. After some research i found it was coming in at bout .9joules and thought happy days.

However when i emailed the company asking for a quote etc, they said i needed a firearm license, cause this didnt use a conventional gas blow back system to eject the shells, and may cause extreme alarm with customs upon arrival into my country. I've since got the feeling I may have been accidently buying a blank firing rifle ( the guy said that it needs new shells after every one fired)

Was odd though, I think most ejecting shell airsoft guns are fine though.

    DOC,

    wgc shop, ktw winchester.

spring cocked, uses aeg springs, under the joule, full metal.

Get some wooden furniture and bobs your uncle.

Was going to get one myself, but SVD's, ak74's, and shotguns took priority.
