all nice and buzzing with new years eve. but as irish people we should have a better brain and conciousness in our head. the first thing i have to say is this. the irish people are smart but not smart enough. we keep thinking we know everything and moan about everything that the government does. i hope for the new year that irish people will get their head out of their a-ss and stand together against this government and demand changes. (ie) no one anymore will tolerate children learning in prefabs in school with no heating in this day of this year of 2009 this should not be happening would you agree. these kids should be learning and given the chance to learn in a warm and decent environment. and not only that THE MAIN THING IS THIS. stop whinging about your problems. do something and say to the government i'm not taking this any more (remember). and get people together to sort your problems out. all we do is moan and do nothing. I think it's about time to stand together and sort all this junk out soon. if we don't we will be like the united states and will lose our freedom, and freedom of speech. happy new year. don't complain to me for what i say just do whats right...

    You are quite correct.

There is a lot of other things that need to be looked at again when the Dail resumes. Lets add this to the long list.

During 1st Year in school, we were in prefabs. I have to admit that that year has been the best laugh so far.

However, they are now being knocked down and an extension to the main building is gonna be under construction pretty soon.
    :)

We're Irish, we love to moan, love to gamble and love to drink.

The recession has taken 2 out of those 3 for some of us.. for the love of God... leave us with something!

Actually I was in prefabs from 1987-1993 in my school. They were warm and safe and had their own toilets.

I know that Castlecabin in Limerick do most of the prefabs in Limerick schools and the owner (Tom) only leases out prefabs with the same standards as a solid classroom(without the bricks/blocks)
