    If You have time - and can endure the norwegian spoken - have a look at this film "Den ville laksen" ("The wild salmon) nearly 1 hr, from the norwegian state broadcasting (NRK). Starts with a short intro from the Beiarn river, which was nearly destroyed by GS infection. After successful treatment with Rotenon, the wild salmon is back in numbers. Then we follow a wild 3 sw salmon from entering the fjord until the spawning is finished in the Laerdal River.

    Most of the film is absolutely stunning underwater footage, which among other things show :

    * The spawning process, filmed in the redds (its amazing to see how big stones there are in the spawning gravel)
    * How parr are killed by GS (killed by a white fungus, after GS has eaten the protective slime on the fish)
    * Cock-fish showing off their strategies on the spawning -grounds. Cruising along, collecting info on all fish in the pool. Using show-off strategies, to scare away smaller males, using parallell swimming and "shadow boxing" to sort out whos strongest, without getting physical. (A nasty bite that penetrates the skin will often lead to the development of a deadly fungus attack)
    * Cock-fish fighting for the hens, and different strategies for getting access to attractive hens. And new documentation of the hard fighting taking place between the males. (One understands why few cock-fish are multiple spawners)
    * A male grilse geting killed (severly bitten) by a huge (4sw?) cock-fish after trying to mate with the big cock-fishs chosen hen
    * The unsuccessful spawning of an escaped farm-fish hen
    * The presence and strategies of spawning parr
    * Fighting between seatrout and salmon, and sea-trout males trying to court salmon hens
    * Some enourmous salmon cock-fishes
    * Some very nice nature sceneries

    Sit back and enjoy, given You have enough bandwith.
