Hey just to let people who are interested know just saw an ad for Brothers and sisters series 3 its starting jan 8th on more 4 at 10pm

i emailed rte a few months ago and got this back

I am in receipt of your e-mail.

I have checked with our Acquisitions Department regarding the series "Brothers and Sisters"
and have been advised that no date is yet available for the transmission of series 2.
You may be aware that series 1 is being repeated at the present time on RTÉ 1 on Wednesdays
at 12.40 am approx.

that was the reply i got on the 16th of october so i wouldn't hold out hope to be honest..
Your best bet now would be i say have a flick through the listings on more 4 and e4 this week and next week..more 4 might show season 2 next week during the day before season 3 starts..

Thanks - that's just lovely! I've been waiting for the second series for a while, just like everybody else. Is it any good, for those who've seen it? No spoilers, just is it as good/better/worse as season 1?

I thought season 2 was as good, if not better than season 1. I do think its a bit ridiculous that RTE are only now starting to show season 2, when you have More 4 about to show season 3. How can RTE be SO up to date with certain shows, but totally lax with others?

I have been watching series 3 (cousin in US) and it is very good...can't believe that they can make it better. Series 3 is worth a look! Don't worry I shall not spoil it.

As I just said in another thread it's on More 4 on Thursday's at 10pm. You're after missing a lot of this season though so you should probably wait and see if RTE decide to show it. It's been brilliant so far this series. Each episode just gets better and better. My fave American show at the moment!!

Ok which season is being shown on RTE Two at the moment, I kept sorta in touch with it when it was on late on RTE One but this series does not appear to be following on from the last. Don't want to say what was going on in the finale of the last episode of the last series I saw but I am totall confused, I may have even seen the finale on More 4 and confuesd myself entirely. So which series is this on RTE 2 if I follow it I'll be better able to keep up with whats going on I think.
