    Hi guys

I bought a GATEWAY M-Series laptop in the states in May.

It always ran a bit warm underneth and it said that in the reviews but its a nice machine otherwise.

Now of late it is shutting itself down randomly. No new Hardware or any major changes.
The turning itself off only happened the odd time but now its more and more frequent.

I installed an app to tell me the tech info and the CPU is running at 80 degrees C.

Can anyone offer me any suggestions or help in this, its rather annoying :(

    oh and happy new years

Sounds like the fan isnt working, can you hear it kick in?

well thats why youre shutting down.'

Open up the case and look out for anything that might be blocking the fans, like cables and cards. And get rid of the dust. Theres bound to be a ton of it right arount your cpu
