Headfort New is better than the other courses you were going to play. You'll have a great time and no doubt will revisit the place. Enjoy and fingers crossed you get good weather. Defo wrap up warm tho.

prop a bit late now, but Elm Green in Blanchardstown, North Dublin do a mid week special of 20 euro and it includes a free breakie before or after your round.

Played Arklow today, it is in fabulous nick for any time of year never mind winter. There are two temporary greens in play and only I was told they were temporary I would not have known, absolutely fabulous.

My home track Wicklow is quite dug up at the moment, a lot of players (inc members) not replacing divots and not repairing pitch marks etc, coupled with the green keepers holidays means that its pritty dug up.

    Suggestions:
Play Arklow and give Wicklow a miss for about a month or 6 weeks.

    Regards
    Ian
