As the title may suggest I'm looknig for bike shops.

I'm trying to get a bike, new or second hand for 250 or less, preferably less, for cycling around town and maybe one or two longer jaunts. A hybrid I suppose.

Would you be able to suggest any reasonable bike shops. I've been to one in Rathmines, which was more expensive than my tastes, as was the one in Ranelagh.

I'm not looking for top of the range, just something that will be reliable and and will get me around.

Suggestions would be really appreciated, as Im having a torrid time finding a bike.

I may have found my bike, http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=25456

Reviews seem to give this a thumbs up as an entry level road bike.
I'm plannign on a few longish cycles every now and then. Would this bike be suitable for a rack over the back tyre for bags (you know the type of thing I'm talking about!).

Just looking for a bit of advice. 240 looks like a good price.

You probably won't find any better bike at dublin shop at this price :) But have in mind that 240 is only the 57 model.

It doesn't have mounting holes for a rack unfortunately. You could get one on using P-Clips however (this is what I have done on my fixie.)

Hmmm, so it's doable. Cheers. Seems like a good bet alright.
