    I thought I might start a thread here for information purposes of when each area is receiving their new UPC digital set-top box cards in the post from the powers that be!

    So, when you get your new card, follow the Info TV instructions and post back here with your rough location and how you got on with it. At least we'll know if someone's card goes missing in the post - or better still, that it didn't manage to leave the UPC buildings!

    Sure, we're all expecting those new cards any day now, aren't we?!

    It allows them to upgrade the encryption system to Nagra 2 - no dodgyboxes.

    thought they are switching to Nagra 3 on cabled areas and Nagra 2 for MMDS areas

    Actually heard they were using Waterford as the test area for Nagra 3, can any of our waterford boardies confirm this???
