We've all been there at one stage or another: out with a female friend, few too many drinks are had by all, said female friend punches over her weight and ends up on her knees hurling those 10 drinks from earlier outside a chipper in Temple Bar at 2AM. You, being the gentleman you are, help a girl out by holding her hair back as she argues with the footpath. Everyone goes home happy!

Repeat the above story replacing the girl with a long-haired dude instead. That dude is one of your best friends but when he starts blowing them chunks do you hold his hair back? Personally, I reckon the only situation where holding another man's hair back mid-puke could be considered acceptable is backstage at a milan fashion show where Fabio's PA regularly holds his master's hair after one too many cucumber smoothies.

As a bodacious dude, do you hold your padré's hair back when he chucks or do you watch and laugh as he staggers home with Heineken dripping from his radical new dreads?

*Note: I have a haircut that you could set your watch to, it has been at least 5 years since I last prayed at the porcelain alter and my real name is neither Bill or Ted.

I don't socialize with men who have long hair. Cramps my style.
