Is this a good PC for the money?

People may disagree with me here, but from my experience - having quadcore with 2gb of RAM is pointless. Bascially the PC will be more powerful, but due to restrictions on the size of the RAM will be able to handle less at any one time.

The build quality of Aspire PC's is brilliant in my experience. The 320gb 7200RPM hard drive is also an advantage, and not a bad capacity for the money.

But you also get a monitor, a 19" widescreen, afaik, so it's a really good price. You can be sure the keyboard and monitor will be crap so be prepared to pay £30 for a good set.

EDIT: you can also extend the RAM so i wouldn't worry about my first point if I was you. And RAM is predicted to be cheap in January in Ireland.

Looks like good value, Taking into account it includes a 19" LCD. RAM is low but that can be upgraded very cheaply these days, its also 800Mhz ram over the usual 667Mhz you would find in OEM builds which is good, Video card is weak, but again if not for gaming is more than adequate
