    Hi All.

Bought an MP4 player (not branded) from ebay about a year ago.
    Great machine.Plays mp3 & AVI.and photos etc,

Problem is, I cant get it to play avi files I've converted to suit it.
It has a built in avi file (portion of "Finding Nemo")which plays fine.
Properties of that file are :
    320*240
    Bit rate - 128kps
    Frame rate - 20 / sec
    Data rate - 714 Kbps
Video Sample rate - 12 bit
    Video Compression - Xvid

tried several free converters, but still can't match these settings
files I've tried to converter and attempted to play gives me a "format error"

Any suggestions at this point would be very grateful

    Doc
