dell inspiron 1525 cd problem

    hi all
    I am unable to click on options on a cd. pointer just resets to the center of the screen. (for example I am using the driving theory test cd and cannot select any of the options to move forward, the cd works fine on other computers :confused: )
    The mouse works fine when browsing the net or to open/ close progarms so I am really confused.
    could it be a problem with the cd drive?

    My brother had the same problem on his dell vostro.........we popped the cd into my dell inspiron 1720 and it worked fine, never did find out why but i dont think its your machine.

    The strange think is the cd worked for a while before this problem occurred!
