    Looking to buy a new TV anyone spotted any good deals in the sales?

    I'd be inclined to head up North tbh. Lower base cost, VAT, and weak STG£ will save you the bones of 50% all in.

    Dont buy old technology. The technology is now Blu Ray so buy a compatible TV.

    It should have preferably two HDMi connections and preferably 1080p or at least 720i of a DPi

    Yep that is usually what you get in the post Christmas sales - discounted old technology they couldn't shift before Christmas.

    I saw a Sony 32" LCD in Tescos yesterday for €459
