Another deal for newbies, is half price Multiroom for 12 months (ie. 7.50), or up to 8 digiboxes multiroom (which they call Sky Whole Home) for an additional €15 pm for first year on top of your standard subscription. Dunno what the standard rate for Sky Whole Home is, didn't check.

I got a good deal (I think) in December as a result of some confusion in the ordering process.

Sky+ in the main room and Sky regular in the second room. The only fixed cost was €50 for the install - this got the dish installed and the 3 cables run down to the rooms. The monthly cost was €21 (now €20.50 from what I see on the site so I guess they have modified their pricing a little bit) and €7.50 for the multiroom. Plus I got €75 back with refer a friend.

I think I should have paid €49 for the Sky+ box but got it for free. At the moment it is showing up as half price - €24.50 for the box. Pricing for multiroom features are here - http://www.sky.com/portal/site/ireland/products/equipment/multiroom - I had none of the one off costs listed here other than a single €50 install.

Not much between them, I think the Sky+ is a better deal.

With Sky you have to choose all the various packages but NTL has the lot except for Movies and Sports as standard. Also I cannot see ITV in the Sky channel lists

ITV is not on the irish EPG but can be added via other channels. The monthly charge has been reduced on count of the VAT change in England.

There is an option on the sky box where you can add channels like ITV. if you press services and system setup, then choose add channels then you have to enter a freq and so on...

to view the added channels press services then choose other channels go for the channel you which to view and press select
