Price difference between here and the UK

    Hey,
Just finished finalising flights for a massive 3 month holiday and to be honest was really surprised by the difference in price between here and the UK.

We did all our research through an Irish branch here and on the day we were going to book it my friend decided to check what the same company would offer if we range the UK branch. They gave us a price of €1250 with all the flights and right stops we needed while sitting in the Dublin office the best they could do was €1700 as the absolute cheapest they could do, with us being entirely flexable.

I wasn't particularly keen to do it online or over the phone but they were much more accomadating and the saving makes a massive difference to our travel budget.

It just seems like the exchange rate is still ripping off the Irish consumers.
