Remote control

hi, hope someone can help with this its fairly simple. Basicially im looking for a ir remote control + sansor (via usb?) that i can use with windows xp/vista to control basic things like volume, mouse ...

ive been looking online at such places as ebay, but i would prefer to buy in a shop (kildare/dublin region). ive looked in places such as curries/hmv and a few other electronic shops..

I get what you need, but I've never seen them in a bricks and mortar store. Why are you afraid of buying online?

I got one of these 18 months ago off ebay. In fact, instead of IR, I bought a radio frequency one - great for controlling the media centre with the hands still under the warmth of the bedclothes!

lol that would be a nice feature!

im not afraid of buying online its just these days it seems just as expensive with p+p, than getting online and you dont have to wait.

i still would like some help though, in picking out the best one or making sure that the site is ok.

Well I have the X10 RF MCE Remote, but I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for.

The ebay one you linked to above looks dandy to me!
