    Does anyone know what the results were of the second go, wasn't the first just a test or something and they said it would take like 4 weeks:confused:
    Maybe they just did it on the QT and failed?

    Not sure what the deal is with it now but last i heard it was broken and they were trying to figure out why!

    Well basically someone broke the big spiny toy and they try to fix it, but realise its costing millions to fix and not that great a machine so they decided to scrap the idea

    The lhc is probably one of the most complicated systems ever built, did people really think it was gonna go without a hitch.

    There has been a few different problems with it one of the more major problems was an electrical fault between two of the magnets which kinda set off a chain reaction and a lot of things got damaged, it'll probably be summer before its running again.

    Even when they get the problems with it fixed it will take years to get results.

    They turned it on and realised that even it wasn't powerful enough to run vista properly and they couldn't get drivers for the ion blaster array. They're rolling back to xp now.

    Nah it was powerful enough, they just couldn't get drivers for their equipment.
