It's 149 and 50 installation for both the sky plus and sky hd boxes. The HD box is 15 euro a month more expensive though. Is the HD box worth it?

It really all depends on what package you are choosing or already have. most of the HD channels are movies and there is 30 in total. And with the addition of Sci-Fi HD supposing to be added in Jan will make it 31

For me, it's definately worth it. I get most of my HD movie content from Sky. Wouldn't be without it now.

I presume you have a decent sized HD TV?

the HD box, since it's next gen hardware, and will be useful for the future.

the €15 HD sub is a right numpty though. Perhaps you could temporarily drop part of your current package to pay for it?
