Picture, no sound

Got a Freesat box in Belfast before Christmas, and it worked briefly, then got a fault.

The first symptom was that it had pictures but no sound.

Then it lost all the channels, and just gave a "Service Not Available" message on each one.

Brought it back to Argos in Belfast yesterday and explained the fault and they swapped it. The new box worked perfectly for the night, but this morning has lost sound.

It's not the TV, because we have sound and pictures from RTE channels (from an aerial).

It's obviously either the box or the dish. Has anyone had this fault before, and how did you solve it?

Edit: now it's lost the picture again, in the same way as the first time.

Are you sure the scart lead/connection is ok?

We were using it on an HDMI cable - bought one from Tesco, but with the second box they gave us an HDMI cable rather than a SCART lead; we're about to try it with a SCART lead now, after unplugging everything and restarting, on the advice of Bush's understaffed-seeming tech support phoneline.

We succeeded in getting the stations back by unplugging everything, leaving the whole system turned off and unplugged for 15 minutes and reconnecting everything. We shall see whether this continues to work.
