Got myself a new TV over the Christmas but will need to move it to another location of the room once the tree comes down. To move the sky box including the external cables running from the dish into the house do I need to ring Sky to get a sky installer to do it or is their guys apart from sky contractors who do it for a living. I am in the Dublin 15 area. Can anybody recommend a installer,I say its not more than a 30 minute job

    Thanks

Hi i used to install sky for a year.
And it is an easy job all you need is some co axial cable a jack, straight through connector and some f connectors, it is easy enough but you have to prepare the cable properly for both audio and video(make sure screen and cable are not touching) in the cable,im in D12, all the best.my no. is removed

If you are still doing this sort of thing, I have an issue with the coax cable going into the back of my sky+ box.....I'm in D14...
