When you say you're addicted to it though, exactly what do you mean? Is it affecting your personal life, sex life? Do you feel bad about it. What defines addiction?

Thanks everyone! I do see it as a problem purely because I really believe these girls are exploited I don`t think this is what they really want to do do you?

I wouldn't classify myself as an addict but I watch it fairly regularly. I have a sex drive that is quite high but relationships don't appeal to me, so I watch porn. I've always like visual images, I'm an artist, after all. I drew pictures of people having sex when I was as young as 12 and I fantasized about sex as soon as I knew what it was. Don't feel bad about porn, but yeah, I agree, the KIND of porn that's out there sucks, literally. It's all male centric and gross, I have to close my eyes sometimes to avoid looking at the turn off (male power and abuse) and search out the "good stuff' ... which is usually made by couples, you can see the connection and chemistry between them even when it's kinky.
If more women demand better porn maybe this would change ... support women-made porn. Don't feel guilty, men aren't the only ones who like to see penetration. Also ... gay male porn is a better option if you get sick of seeing women degraded.

Having Spent over half my life in the Sex Industry I might be able to help with this a little.

I have sold a lot of porn,Ive been to porn shoots,erotic rade fairs,business meetings,castings for films,I have even bought the licenses for some movies and distributed them myself.I have been to many places in Europe and further afield to the States and also Russia working in this business.

During all this time I only once saw girls who wasnt happy to take part in porn.Most of the time they see it as a good money maker for a few years and a highly enjoyable lifestyle to boot.The girls in the States recieve huge money for their work (the guys can get as little as 10% of what the girl gets for each shoot) and can retire early and rely on investments they have made with their cash or start their own business.

In some areas in Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation the life of a porn actor,escort or dancing girl is seen as a viable career move and is not frowned upon in general,it also provides a good wage (in most cases).

Western Europe has more people taking part in movies as a hobby or for fun and many people do them for free (especially in scat movies believe it or not,these are actually the only places where scat enthusiasts can meet like minded people).

Of course its not all sparkle and glitz,some women do it out of desperation but that never ever happens with the huge majority of production companies and as for being forced into it that never happens with them.

The kind of movies where a girl has been talked into it by an over zealous boyfriend or physically forced to take part can be spotted miles away and are avoided by pretty much everyone I know in this business.They appear now and again and more often find their way directly to the anonymous internet rather than being released on DVD to stores.

You will get staged 'rape' and 'forced' sex movies,these are staged and badly acted,you would never mistake it for the real thing.Incidentally I found that many women liked these movies and that violent sex seems to be a recurring fantasy with many women (of course not all fantasies should be played out for real).

Porn is a product made by consenting adults for the viewing pleasure of consenting adults,anything other than this is quite wrong.

So please enjoy your porn and worry not for it is quite safe to say that all involved in your film were there by their own free will and were very handsomely paid.

Oh and one last thing,my girlfriend watches way more porn than me and Im totally fine with it and Im sure most men would be too!

Oh and yes last poster the amateur stuff is best,generic US porn with the "Whos your Daddy?" and slapping and verbal abuse carry on really sucks.
