    Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May end the current series with a road trip through Vietnam, travelling the length of the country in just eight days. But first, they have to buy some transport.

    Extended 8pm to 9.15pm

    What are you doing here:pac::pac:

    I also thought the Dong gaffe was hilarious....as was the train mishap.

    They definitely have the best jobs in the world. What a journey to make... and get paid for it. They looked like they roughed it a bit, which is good. Sometimes you'd wonder whether they really do all these "races" properly, for example when you see Clarkson sleeping in a Motorway service area in the car. It actually looked like they went through the experience portrayed on screen.

    Imagine though.... a Top Gear without any cars!!! What a transformation from the original concept of the show & nobody on here even cared!

    +1, nothing happened. Its all been done before and aside from the scenery was pointless and crap.

    The amphibious stuff was funny before but is just getting old now too.

    It was funny, but too long, and all a bit pointless. I see why the show has got such huge appeal, but as far as cars go it has long since settled on the lowest common denominator.

    Got to watch it this evening. Quality show! I enjoyed every single minute of it. It's on par with the Polar special and nearly as good as the two US ones!

    Good stuff, lads! With the Aus and US getting their own TG shows I'm starting to wonder whether they'll have challenges against one another in the next series..as I can't really imagine any more reasons to go off abroad. Could be easily proven wrong though! :D

    I think people here are over analysing the show. . . It was quality great laugh from start to finish. .
