Hi.

I am moving to a new house in January and I hope to buy a new TV, and possibly blu-ray player /home cinema setup. I am looking for recommendations from anyone with experience of same. Just to give an idea of where it will be working, the sitting room is approx 14' by 12 ' and is wired for surround sound. A few questions.

1. Given the size of the room what is the optimal size TV I should consider?
2. LCD or Plasma?
3. Recommendations for make / model of TV and Blu-ray player?

I have been looking at both here and give the price difference I have been thinking of driving north and maybe either saving the difference or using the difference to buy better models. Any ideas /recommendations would be very welcome.
