i have digital max with the movies and sports but sometimes if i record somethin i cant watch it at a later time, it plays for a min or two and even once turned the dvr off
anyone know of any dvr's with a dodgy hd in it
upc tech told me they were sendin a booster signal, is this just to fob the customer off and just restart the dvr

    multi room
is 50 euro installation charge a bit ott, i dont think sky charge any installation fee

    1) I think I've read of a few HDs going faulty. Not a very common problem though.

    2) Yes

    3)Sky also charge installations fees.

basically you box has a mac address. UPC detect it. you need to plug it out for them to do some things some times and then restart it. sending a booster signal is BS but he can send something that only your box will accept. so the booster is just stupid speak for that
