    We are arriving in Bangkok on 17 January and have two weeks to make it down to Singapore before we fly onto Perth. We are looking for advice on what to see and what to avoid in that two weeks so that we won’t be wasting any time as we don’t have much!!!

    There are four of us in the group in our mid to late 20’s and are looking to have a bit of a laugh, see a bit of the local culture and I suppose do the usual “touristy” thing!!!

    All advice appreciated

    When In Bangkok - See the Grand Palace - real cool!!
    Ive only ever been 2 West Coast - After 3yrs!!! Its amazing theres so much 2 see!!
    Id advise Koh Phi Phi - But Im really biased and am completley in love with the place - it is getting 2 built up and western! But it has world class snorkelling and diving - and Maya Bay (The Beach was filmed here) - go late in the afternoon or early in the morning! Look it up on U tube theres amazing vids on there!
    Fire dancin on the beach 2 sunrise drinkin buckets - What more could you want!!:D
    Railay is another cool hangout - lots of Bob Marley wannabes chillin its realy relaxed! Both Phi Phi and Railay dont have roads - its all on foot - but there tiny!!! That said after spending a few months on Phi Phi I still got lost!!!!

    Ao Nang is another nice place but when its dead its dead!!!! We were there oncle and it was brilliant - went back ant it was like we were the only ppl on the planet! - Depends what your in2!!
    Kata and Karon on Phuket are cool - were a bit dead in low season!!
    If you are heading North (Dont Imagine U will Be Chaing Mai is a cool place really cultural)

    Avoid Patong - sleaze Central - yUCK!!

    Theres also a Tiger Temple 2 hours North of BKK - we never went - heard crazy stories from fellow travellers - One of which involved a tiger cub biting a kid - Dunno how true it was but Im a scardey cat!!!

    Thats my 2 cents worth - any other qs gimme a shout! Ill be glad 2 steer ye in the right direction!:)
