Ok, I have a Samsung 480 and was working away with it fine for 6 weeks on two different laptops (both running Vista) when a few days ago (xmas eve I think) it suddenly started to give me a Connection Failed error (on both laptop simultaneously)

I am connecting through bluetooth to the phone and the bluetooth connection is fine (I can swap files betweem them).

To get some more information I tried using the dialup and diagnosing the return gave me some information. Looking through the RASMAN logs it would appear that the dialup and the bluetooth connection (which I think is basically doing something similar) are getting onto the network and passing the username and password challenge but not being identified/accepted on the network.

I've tried ringing Vodafone but the front line support just went and asked and was told everything was fine.

Anyone else having trouble with Vodafone BB? Any idea how I can get back online as its my only connection to the internet? Its kinda important for the SSF amongst other things (like my sanity etc).
Could it just be the networks being mad busy at xmas??

An Vodafone people out there can help?

    DeV.

Found the issue, vodafone made some internal rearrangements which knocked my little Samsung out. The initialisation string in the modem is different to what it was before and also seems to be heading for isp.vodafone.ie rather than office.vod....

If anyone else is having these issues, let me know ... I have the sheet for the details from Vodafone (who were suprisingly good at support about the whole thing...)
