Part-time Day Job

    Hey guys,

I have been looking on the various Job sites that are looking for work on different days of the week. I am free on thursdays, fridays and sundays, and have a commitment on a monday from 1pm - 2pm but am free on monday apart from that.

The areas I have experience in are IT Support, Admin (Civil Service) and Bar Work (Staff) but I'd take pretty much any Job.

I know it will be tough, but I am wondering what the best way is to go about trying to get work for as many as my free day hours as possible.

    All and any suggestions appreciated.

    Edit:

I have looked at companys advertising work from home sales roles, but they all seem dodgy as hell. Anyone have any experience with such Jobs?

See the first link in my signature - it's all the part-time jobs from the main jobsites.

Would you work in the likes of McDonalds/Burger King?

    I have tried a few:
'work from home and double your income' jobs,
once you get over the cold calling and not getting paid in proportion to the time you put in it's fine but no I didn't stick to any of them.

Also I had a full time job at the time also and I just left my job for a higher paying 1 instead.

Weekend shifts are the norm in retail, with days off on Mon, Tue, or Wednesday

What about an electrical store where you could use your tech support skills. Or the electrical dept in a supermarket or dept store.

I would say you want 20-25 hrs per week and only give your availability at the end of the interview. They may ask before any interview in which case you will have to be truthful.

I would work for McDonalds or Burger king over not working at all alright! I would prefer something either IT or clerical work.

    Unfortunately I don't drive.

What i could possibly do is courier in town. Right now I am checking through the job sites, I hope to have a few applications in before 5 tomorrow.

I think call centre work is flexible and pays well.

Or get trained as a card dealer and get a job in a casino. That pays very well I hear.

And I think couriers only work business hours and not weekends. They'll probably demand you be available for whole days Monday to Friday.
