I sometimes get this weird feeling, like im missing something or I missed out on abig part of my life, its like a space that needs to be filled?
I drove into the mountains one night on my own just thinking that for some reason I would feel better up there. I usually feel this way when im out in the country at night. I never seem to be able to satisfy this weird longing I have. Its a feeling as though im twisted and tortured and that I need to go backwards to fix something If you know what I mean

    Hi,

I do know what you mean because I feel that I am ALWAYS missing out on life. I didn't have the best of childhoods, so, I certainly missed out on all of that; and I'm 25 now but still feel like I'm missing out. I often long to just pack up everything and go live in the mountains or forest too. I think that what is happening is that we are appealing to our natural instincts, and realising that life shouldn't be all about living in a concrete jungle being exposed to innumerable amount of toxic fumes.

... ...on the other hand, it could be a sign that you are depressed, if even slightly. Would you consider yourself a generally happy person?
