Has anyone used a wii as a media centre?
I have a ton of videos and tv series on a hard drive, I'd like to watch them on tv. I've tried using Weezo with the opera from the wiishop, but the quality is crap.
I have (as of today) setup a mythtv box in the attic. It has a tv card but no tv input, just use it to rip from old vcr tapes. Is there a web frontend to mythtv that I could use?

There is a web interface for MythTV, called erm, mythweb. I doubt its going to be very usable with the Wii.

Orb would be your best bet, but its prettymuch windows-only, either a second computer or virtualization might be the best way to go.

Theres another web-based interface with wii/ps3 in mind, cant remeber the name of it tho, im sure google will have something.

You can use video and music playback software downloaded with the (unofficial) Wii Homebrew Channel. However, the Wii can only access SD cards up to 2GB and using a USB drive is slow at the moment. See here for more info.
