Hi I got a new LCD and home cinema system and am trying to connect up my XBOX.

My TV and DVD are connected over HDMI & digital optical cable. My XBox is connected by the VGA cable but I cant get the sound to work with the red and white connections. I can get the sound when i plug it into the r & w component connection ... but then no picture.
So then i was thinking Digital optical connection but i only have one and thats being used by the TV - DVD.
Is component cable my only solution? or is there such a thing as digital optical splitter?

    Cheers,

    Gar
