I won a tenner in the Irish lottery (which I never play) I was in a particularity chirpy mood last Sunday and was well into my first thousand of spending and threw €4 into the lottery, and after checking the numbers I came up with a tenner for three numbers. I am delighted I got that tenner from the thousands of other idiots who do the lottery religiously and lose, +€6 now never again!!!

That's weird. I once bought €4million worth of lottery tickets at a local petrol station and won the jackpot of €10million leaving +€6million profit. In your face lottery idiots!
Technically the profit wasn't a full €6million tho as I also bought a Wispa as a impulse buy on the way out.

Hang on, let me get this straight - by your logic the masses of people who play regularly are only idiots because you were lucky enough to win? Getting lucky and winning a tenner is hardly a good basis for that... if you were unlucky and didn't win would that make you an idiot? If a person played all their life and won millions of euros in one lucky game would they be an idiot or not?

I very rarely buy lotto tickets. I prefer scratchcards.

Anyways about 4 years ago, i was in a newsagents and i asked for a 2 euro all cash. The lady heard me wrong and gave me a 2 euro quickpick. I took it home and thought nothing of it until the next day. I checked the numbers and i won 54 euro.

One guy who comes in to the shop where I work has won the jackpot three times. Last jackpot he won was €2 million about 3 and a half years ago. Before that it was €3 million and before that it was €2 million.
