Have a printer already so not looking for a combination. Have a HP scanner but not compatible with Vista

So looking for something simple not to expensive but does the basics as don't scan that much

Checked PC world on spec and nothing there. Have looked at Komplett but don't know what one to choose?

    Cheers

I have a Canon Canoscan that I've had for a good few years now - pure simplicity, which is why I bought it at the time. I have never had any bother with it, although I suppose it's a lot slower now than updated versions. It does me perfectly though and I use it for photocopying bits and pieces as well. At the time I bought it originally, I'd struggled for hours with one that someone else got bundled with their PC and I gave up on it - far too much hassle to understand and use for the noob I was then.
However, I've just bought a much newer version of it only last week - a Canoscal Lide 200 from PC World (£68 stg in Derry) for my sister. It's USB and needs no other source of power, installs quickly and easily, and is VERY simple to use and store, with buttons for email, copying and scanning. I think Komplett have it in stock for less than I paid, but I didn't want the hassle of online waiting/Xmas hiccups etc.
