I bet your fingers got frost bite this morning !
If you're looking for C&C on the pics, I find them interesting but a little cluttered, ie. too many distractions in some of them.

I would have loved the second one, had the foreground not been there..

The others don't really do much for me, sorry. Nothing really interesting in them.

I have no interest what so ever in cricket,and none of these do absolutly anything for me...

2 would be the only one i'd actually like,but the forground is terrible
possibly better if you focused on the gate and not something behind it...

The rest look like shots you'd see in a newspaper for a place for sale

In your second pic if you peer throught the trees to the left of the monument you will see the civil service clubhouse also used by a hockey club and a running club!

#2 is meant to be like that, the pics are not landscapes but more what an old fashioned run down cricket club is like when you go in close up and behind the scenes, so you have it correct with the newspaper quip.

..and a 600mm to boot, though Phoenix is not that big a pitch and in club games you can move about freely enough

It's a smaller pitch than Clontarf's I assume?
I am saving for the 100-400L anyways, can't afford the 300mm 2.8 sigh
At Clontarf my 70-200+1.4 covered teh pitch on a crop fairly well, although reading reviews the 100-400 would be sharper than the other combo.
