Off Skiing in a few days who is the best to take out insurance with? I want worldwide cover with winter sports included.

I have used ACE before, just wondering what other options are there?

I've found justcover.ie pretty good, used them for the past coupld of years, annual policy at a great rate - roughly €60-70 for a couple, including winter sports.

same here, but have never had to claim off them, so can only vouch for the price - worth checking your own private health insurance (bupa vivas whatever) as this makes it much cheaper...

A lot of policies will not cover you for if you venture anyway outside of the marked runs so if you are likley to be doing any kind of off-piste then check exactly what you are covered for first.

I've always used VHI - you have to have a policy with them already to get their travel insurance. Had the misfortune of claiming on it last year and it really was hassle free. Make sure to specify you want the winter sports add on - it's not part of the basic package.
