    Ok I just finished putting my rig together. i notice that my ddr3 1600Mhz at 7-7-7-?? is running at 1333Mhz at 9-9-9-??. ???? can anyone explain this also the latancy is higher that expected. I have an intel extreme x48 board at 1600FSB but CPU 1333FSB

    Have you tried setting the the timings and voltage manually in Bios?

    It it may be set at lower settings by default.

    Yeh you are right plus I forgot to connect one extra plug to the motherboards :S and I had to set the timing manually and everything is working well. I even manage to overclock the Q950 to 3.04Ghz with temp 30+/<55 without voltage.
