300m ISSF

It wasn't me!

Just wondering how many people in the country would do this, and whether we've ever run any matches here? I know 6BR is fairly pricey, but wonder whether, were reloading easier to do from a legal standpoint, would there be a decent following? Personally, I'd love to try the prone side, and three position when I sort out my standing and kneeling, so if I wanted to, would it be possible to do it here or would I have to go abroad for any matches I wanted to shoot?

I can think of a few, maybe more since afaik .308 is still perfectly legitimate for 300m, plus of course the PDF ISSF shooters. Depends on what you consider a "decent" number.

If you are interested in fullbore T/R, have you considered Imperial shooting (e.g. at Ballykinler). DURC does have a tradition in this discipline.

I'd be thinking enough to run a match, five or six people at least I guess. I'm going to try get up there, possibly with people in tow. I believe they have an open training day sometime in February, so that's something I want to try as well.
