Any opinions on the above? :)

New comp came with google sidebar installed but Im annoyed that I have to constantly resize the gadgets on the bar so thought I might try the Vista one, any good?

it really depends on the intended use. all I ever used the gadget bar for was cpu monitoring. so instead i downloaded the moo0 desktop system monitor which does the job a lot better.

Personally, i do not like having either toolbar. I think they clutter up the desktop too much and take away from performance especially running . If I had to choose I would select the google one.

Google sidebar is probably spying on you.

    Vista sidebar is teh gay.

    I'd suggest XP :D

Havent used either in a while as they annoyed me and got in the way.
I didnt like the way the vista one behaved in particular especially if you have desktop icons beside it , i think the google one had a better hide behavior.

I found some of the launchers a bit more useful myself when i was going through my skinning and modding phase

Try both to be honest, the vista one is already there just turn it on. At the end of the day your the one that will be using it so if its good for you it doesnt matter what we think really.

    Lol! :D

Nowithstanding Galway Guy's post above Ive decided to play around with the Vista sidebar for a few days and see how it goes. Google one kept annoying me with the resizing, maybe M$ can beat Google in this instance! (doubt it!)

I was in the middle of downloading Samurize when I had a flash back to the hours I spent scripting my own personalised "Uber Desktop" when in the end it looked sh1te anyway!

    Thanks again for the suggestions!
