This probably shouldnt be in this section but, Im looking to get a football manager game for pc (because theres none on ps3).
I wana play it on my laptop. Is it as simple as just putting it in like a ps3 game and playing it, or does your laptop need to download something or would it only work in certain latops??
My laptop is a Dell fairly new make.
Havent a clue about pc games.
    Cheers

The game would need to be installed.

When you insert the disc into the Laptop it will generally auto run and present you with the installer wizard. You just follow the steps through to install it to the hard drive. It will place a shortcut icon on the desktop then so you can run it from there in the future. Some games will still require you to have the disc still in the drive to play for anti-piracy reasons.

Just a little side note, if you get an expansion pack, It might or might not need the expansion disk to run. Therefore, you can just buy/rent/borrow it and it stays forever.

I have sims 2, and I have most expansion packs (pre-seasons exp.) and I only need (I think) the sims 2 disk, and the sims2 pets disk. I put in the pets disk, and it runs all expansions (because there on the hard disk). So I can sell all my other expansions.
