    I got myself a tascam DP-02cf portable studio and its great love the thing :D:D:D:D:D happy days ok well ive just started to try nd put all the songs ive recorded onto the pc and i dunno why it wont play the songs that i upload the pc doesnt know what format it is :( can anyone help me please :(:( btw i dunno if i posted this in the right forum sorry lol

    Simply remove the CF card and put it in a card reader in your computer and copy the WAV file to the hard drive. Make sure you name your session .WAV on the unit. I don't have a unit like this but had a browse over the web for you. Best of luck, I am sure someone around here might be able to help you more.

    tried that but it still wont play on itunes i think the file is way too big

    Download a demo of Reaper, or some other DAW, and try and open the .WAV file in that...perhaps the file is 24bit and iTunes cannot read it for that reason ?

    In this case you will need to downsample to 16bit, preferably dithering (applying low-level noise to cover rounding errors) in the process.

    Bassbomber - page 47 of the manual gives you instructions.

    You're sure you've made a 'Mastered Stereo Mix' and there's music on it? Be absolutely sure of this first.

    The file is 44.1 k and 16 bit so it should be compatible with virtually everything, inc iTunes, so that's unlikely to be the issue.

    (iTunes will play 24 bit too, at least on my Mac)
