I'm looking to get a panasonic BD55 player, but komplett yanked them from their lists, and I can't seem to find them much elsewhere, except on play.com who are offering an outrageous (as in bad) exchange rate price of £350 vs. €489 (which currently equals £468)

Anyone know where I can get one without paying stupid exchange rate prices?

Picked one up in Glasgow on my Christmas travels from a shop called "Audio Merchants".

£390 (was listed at £400 but they said 390 on the phone so ... ), then minus deductions for 15% VAT, with GBP trading at near parity with the Euro. Happy days.

Makes a difference from being asked for the better part of €490 by play and not much cheaper on komplett before they delisted it. Oh how we live in the land of the competitive price .... this f*cking country

In happier news, just managed to give the box a test drive with the dark knight. The player combined with my TV (Philips 32" 32PFL9603D/10) is teh sexeh
